I am honored that Boswell Books chose my story “Go Yonder” as the winner of their recent fiction contest inspired by Ben Percy’s new book The Wilding.  The challenge was to write a story with a traditional conflict (such as man vs. fate or man vs. technology) and replace ‘man’ with ‘nature.’  The prize?  I was the opening reader for Percy at his October 5th signing in Milwaukee, WI.
