I’ve been participating in an online community this month of words and poets over at chinginchen.wordpress.com.

The main gist:
1. Read prompts
2. Choose from those prompts
3. Create something from or inspired by the prompts
4. Suggest a prompt for next time

It’s been nice to see a couple of things happen.  One, writing flows for me when I have prompts, and I’m grateful for the experience.  Two, seeing what other people do with your words is like watching someone apply a theory in a practical way.
