For too long we’ve allowed the end-product of food processes to determine if we’re going to eat or not eat. We forget to balance in the way the food reached us. I imagine that vegans and non-vegans alike would be fairly enchanted to see the food industry focus more on sustainable methods that lower pollution (less factory farming), lessen suffering (uh, less factory farming), and refocus money on healthier products (different products subsidized).
