Somewhere in the midst of tonight-so-far, a few hours that included a wonderful UW-Milwaukee Creative Writing community gathering and then some last-hurrah outdoor volleyball at Beulah Brinton, I stopped at the Walkers Point Center for the Arts (WPCA) for the opening of the center’s non-juried Annual Members’ Show.  Executive Director Gary Tuma hosted the event with his typical charm.

Stand-out pieces included those by Susan Messer, Peter Schassler, Helga Hilbert-Robinson, Jenie Gao, Jim Zwadlo, Peter Bullock, and Gary Warren Niebuhr.
