Retiring at 32

David Yost–author, educator, and friend–recently announced that he’s retiring at age 32.  At least for now.  A ploy? A gimmick?  No way.  A long-time illness has finally tripped him up.  This means he’s given up his current job, his next job, and well, a lot of dreams he’s been nurturing for years.

(1) What can you do?  Well, connect him with writing agents.  He has a great novel that needs championing.
(2) Follow him at http://davidyost.wordpress.com/.
(3) Find his stories and books and read them.  He’s been in the Southern Review.  He just published the book “Dispatches from the Classroom” with two other writers.  He’s been in The Sun.  And on.
